SO, after waiting 46 hours to get activated because of oversight on ATT's side, I've finally gotten to use the iphone for a few days now. Now, this morning when i try to type anything on my keyboard, the bottom of the screen doesnt work. If i hit the space bar, it registers a key stroke from the line of keys above it. Same goes for all keys on the bottom line of the keyboard. Called Apple, cant do anything for me. Told me to do a hard restart, then reset to factory settings. Problem remains. SO, it looks like its officially broken and has to be sent back. Worst experience I've ever had with a phone. Or any electronic device for that matter. Wonderful.

My phone, a trusty nokia n95 complete with spiderman 3 movie, has finally bitten the dust and with it, all my contact numbers for people and a calendar full of gigs and, well, my life for the next 3 months or so. short of remembering when christmas day is, i am a little confused right now.

it's pathetic really. a rude wake-up call to me that i shouldn't rely so much on technology. not least because i primarily use it for playing games when i'm travelling, or for constantly updating the bbc football live text service. looking back, i should have got a diary, got out more, looked up, smelt the roses or whatever it is people should do instead of idly fiddling with their phones.

When I saw this photo for the first time, I couldn't believe my eyes, because the same story has happened with the same mobile phone to me this summer too. Unfortunately nobody has stepped up on my motorolla, it has just fall down on the ground and that's all. Now I am using Nokia, it was falling for 4 times now, but nothing has happened to it. Oh by the way I am also dreaming about iPhone 3G. thanks for the nice emotions with this article.

Agree with bill. The phone itself is a antique piece now. Why not to give it to a museum? Is the screen running or its completely out....
