Job boards just need other ways to monetize their site. Yes advertising is dropping because the high demand for employment is filling all the positions, so they need to change their advertising to affiliate products targeted towards unemployed people who still have income coming in from their unemployment checks.

Nice followup to the Startuply piece – Joblighted definitely has a good higher-level perspective of the hiring situation in the startup community. Startuply is still free, too, so it makes sense that we'll see variation a little more slowly than the pay-per-post boards.
